A joke of a school.I teach for the tcdsb. Listened to this schools staff joke about how poor and pathetic the kids from the neighborhood are. That they try so hard....but always fail. Bothersome since I am from the neighborhood. Stay away. Who cares about the bussing. Go to Brookhaven.

Best school I've ever went to, lots of friendly guys, good teachers, and an awesome track and field team. Definitely worth going into high school for. Sure, there's no girls there, but we have special advantage that most high schools don't have, but that is disclosed to people who actually go to the school.

My height made me a target. Kids bullied me constantly because of my hair, my clothes ect. I left immediately after freshman year. Most of teachers were sweet and understanding. Not many career opportunities at this school. They don't have the equipment to help you excel. I don't recommend going to this school.

I'll be very honest with you. I didn't like this school at first but I chose it because I lived near it. However I will say that I've had my ups and downs at JCM. I met a lot of new people and I grew near and dear to them at the end of grade 12, the teachers were pretty nice, some of the courses didn't interest me that much but dealt with it nonetheless. The only thing I hated about this school was it had a really boring vibe but I kinda ignored it eventually. I'm glad my high school journey at JCM has finally come to an end, walking out of grad happy and sad at the same time. For new kids coming to this school, choose your friends wisely otherwise, you're in for hell, that's my only advice from what I learned from attendng this school.

honestly i do not like this school because im not being racist or anything i am just telling the truth a lot of the kids in this school are really stupid, lazy, rude, and ugly. this school is only for black and asian people i swear every other culture or race would feel out of place like i do. the one thing i hate about this school is they let ANYONE from ANY area to come to the school and they forced me to go just because i live close to this school >.>. but to be fair the Teachers are AWESOME except 2 teachers. and the courses are good if u are ONLY interetsed in history, business, computers, meachnics, art kind of, and science. and this is one of the only schools that has animation class as a surprise!

It's an amazing school. And the way how it's placed in a neighborhood makes it even better because the school is so small and almost everyone knows everyone else. We also do some things with the all boys school, Neil McNeil at times. So this is still like the average high school experience :)

This school is absolute garbage! I went there years back and the french immersion teacher didn't speak english and didn't let anyone leave for the washroom, the principal was not right in her head, and the students were extremely hostile and violent. I was assaulted a few times on and off the premises. One student got suspended because of his violent behaviour towards me (after consistent complains from my mother and a police report) so he waited around and assaulted me again which somehow voided his suspension and I, due to being assaulted a second time meant that I was at fault somehow even though a pedestrian witnessed everything and offered to call the police for me who eventually had to get involved due to the negligence of the staff.

Very bad way of treating students. I can't imagine how unprofessional and rude the office treated my son. I haven't seen such attitude in any other school. My son was registered for an important summer course and when tried to join, he was kept in long queues for 2 days from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm just to say after al that waste of time "you are not accepted". Also tells how badly they are organized. A very bad experience for my son and not sure how to make him forget such treatments from a place where he is supposed to "learn".

Requested that my report cards be emailed to somewhere I am applying (after paying the 20$ for the 2 report cards). The person said they don't do that, well my previous high school had no problem emailing it and it would have taken you maybe 2 minutes? Apparently taking the extra 30 seconds to give me an extra photocopy to send to my previous school was him 'going above and beyond' for me. I'd say thanks for the effort, but you put absolutely none in.

My family and I are thankful for the blessing of a catholic public school system in Toronto. The TCDSB staff, overall, whether at corporate office or at the school are always trying their very best to exceed parent and student experiences. If you want to see up close how they do it, the only best way is to engage with them. Start at your kid's school and from there, you will know other opportunities are aplenty! God bless you all for what you do TCDSB!

I taught at St Thersa's Shrine in 1962/3 and 1963/4 I Would dearly love to hear from anyone who was in my class in those years. I have a lot of happy memories of the children I taught and one very sad memory of the afternoon of Novermber 22, 1963, when Sister St Ambrose, the principal, announced over the class inter com the John Kennedy had been shot in Dallas. Everyone in the class burst into tears. I cried too. A memorable teacher from those days was the deputy principal, Bernard Farley, who was a talented jazz pianist and played in Toronto nightclubs along with famous visitors such as Thelonious Monk. Thinking back, I am sure many of my Canadian students thought I fairly tough on them but I also tried to keep them entertained.

My Elementary School. Grade 1 to 8. 1977 to 1986 I think.

tcdsb.org
5
@

This school is exceptionally amazing. After attending this school from JK to Gr.8 (which is a total of 10 years) I can truly say that this school is home. After the ten years of being at St.Robert's its been amazing and it was probably the best ten years of my life. In the intermediate section of the years; we had the most intelligent, fun, and heart- warming teachers from Mr.G, to Mrs.Luca, and finally Mrs.Longo. If you are looking for an elementary school that meets the needs of christianity, pick the fantastic facility of St.Roberts. There will never ever be a dull or boring moment in this school. This school is fun but serious at times, and after experiencing a full 10 years its always met my needs. Enjoy.

absolutely amazing school. very friendly. the intermediate teachers are absolutely fantastic you will never find teachers like them. i started in jk and graduated grade 8 in 2014. i loved it. the students were amazing and friendly. i always remember walking through the halls and everyone says hello and is very polite. the school is like one big happy family. there was never any bullying at all. i never witnessed any bullying for the 10 years i was there.if you are deciding on which elementary school to go to, pick st. Roberts you will have the most amazing experience of elementary school ever. i would definitely give it a 10 out of 5 star rating.

as a former student of Holy Name, I am safe to say I had a repugnant experience in this school, including such events as bullying, horrible teachers, unfair system, outdated teaching techniques and many more. A few months ago I heard from parents of a child who attended Holy Name, and for obvious reason will be un-named, on his first week of school, the young boy left the school premises un noticed, until someone actually found him on the street. The staff is rude and unaccomplished, and they seem to find religion more important than education. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

This is a great place for Saturday 9:30-12pm and 1-3:30pm Catonese and Mandarin classes run by the Toronto Catholic School board with certified Chinese English speaking teachers. Call during Saturday times for more information. Currently it is $30 registration for the full school year including books. Tell all your friends about it!

I love going to this school. The system really benefits you not only during your high school education but will benefit throughout your life. This school is the greatest choice of any high school student.

I don't know about the school. But I'm here visiting today. And the parking and entrance is super unsafe. There's zero lights at the entrance from Kennedy and barely any lights in the parking lot. This is a school!!!. There are kids around here constantly. And at least steadily until 6pm (daycare).

I like this place because this place lets you do whatever you want. This school also shows the how good you are in the real world. You can get behind in this school, or you can stay ahead and get out of here early. I have seen students fall behind due to he amount of freedom you get here. The Teacher Advisors help get going in this school. They can also punish you if you are behind. This school is a true test for everyone.

The school does have a lot of enjoyable content, such as the clubs and the ability to choose which classes to go to for a period. However, if you don't have good time management or you have poor attention to your work, you may have a hard time here. Also, a lot of the students at this school, while being fun, can be quite disrespectful and immature a lot of the time. The teachers on the other hand are extremely nice, and really care about whether you pass or not.

St.Florence is a wonderful school. You feel welcome just entering it, the staff, teachers, principal and student are wonderful and share their opinions, ideas and information in the positivist way possible. Not only is the education very academic and less applied but the school has a conflict free and cheerful environment that will make everyone and anyone feel welcome.

I studied in this school before. Awful. i lost my watch and my cell phone two months apart. Additionally I lost my watch on my first day to go to school in gym class even though I put it in my bag. They helped me check the camera on the aisle but found no one came in the dressing room. Thiefs everywhere .

This school is the worst school on Gods planet. Teachers will humiliate you in front of students and you get in trouble. They will send you down to the office for every single reason sometimes even for no reason at all this school is the worst school ever and if you want to find out go there yourselves

This school was one of the worst schools on this Earth. They just banned swearing, which obviously they should've done a long time ago. Whenever I want to chat with one of the students at Epiphany, They would always swear. There are tons of bullies there, which makes it a very unsafe school. I definitely do not recommend this school, because of how the students act there.

I seriously do not recommend this school. The aggression levels are elevating, and someone will get killed. I know this because there is a ton of swearing going on, and swearing will result in injuries. No teacher cares if the children are swearing
